The 3D organisation of the microenvironment can be modelled by spheroids containing CLL cells together with stromal cells and monocytes. These structures allow to study CLL cells dynamics reproducing the architecture and the mechanical constraints of the microenvironment. grant USPN, 2025 – to date.
In these systems, we study the metabolic features and the molecular cross-talk between CLL cells and the other elements of the microenvironment as monocytes and stromal cells.
