CLL-PID: Familial chronic lymphocytic leukemia and immune deficiencies (grant INCA, 2024 - to date).

Dr. Pierre Milpied’s team at CIML is participating in a collaborative project coordinated by Dr. Jean-Pierre de Villartay (Imagine Institute, Paris) with Prof. Sylvain Choquet (AP-HP), aimed at understanding whether certain familial chronic lymphocytic leukemias (CLL) constitute a form of hereditary immune deficiency. Using single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) analyses, the team is characterizing the transcriptional programs and repertoires of B lymphocytes from patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemias and their parents. These integrative analyses will identify the specific molecular signatures of familial CLL and elucidate how immune system dysregulation contributes to the development of these leukemias. This project combines expertise in B lymphocyte immunology, single-cell genomics, and clinical hematology.
